Pedicure!

Yesterday Shavonne took me to get a pedicure. As part of my birthday present. I have been looking forward to this since she said that she would take me. Karissa (my new sister-in-law) came with us too. Can you guess which are my feet?
I do love my feet. As a kid my sisters would make fun of them but I think that they are cute, maybe I am biased. My mom says that I have "Frost" toes. My daughter Kristen has the same toes as I do. I could pick her cute little feet out of any line up.

I know I have not posted much lately, and I feel bad about that because I think about it a lot. So maybe in the next few days you will get an overload of posts, consider yourself lucky if you do.

Also I decided to go public with my blog. I have been thinking about it and the whole reason I went private in the first place was silly. I figure its my blog and maybe someone of stumbles upon it will read it and learn something from me, why should I let a little someone who said I should watch what I put out there stop me from having a voice. So here you are folks...feel free to read and comment and tell others about the totally awesome posts that I make.

I did it!

Well I did it. I graduated. I am done with community college and I am on to the big leagues now. How do I feel? Pretty darn proud of myself. It was not easy to get to this point and through it all I kept strong. I am over the 2 year hump, 2 down 2 to go. I owe a lot of my accomplishments to my parents who helped me so much with my kids and listening to my complaints and helping me with my math. I also owe my kids so much for dealing with me when I got stressed and had to stay up late to finish homework and would get crabby with them, I owe them for doing homework instead of playing with them, I owe them decent meals this summer since they have had a sandwich one too many times. I owe my education to them because one day they will know that I really am doing all of this for them, to make our lives together better then ever before. I also know that the power of prayer is so real, and that Heavenly Father hears our prayers and that he loves me. I know that had it not been for the Priesthood blessing I received in the past that I would not have stayed strong and pushed through. I also am thankful for my brothers and sisters, and my closest friends who also gave me words of encouragement and listened to me complain about my teachers and my science classes that were oh so hard.
I am proud of myself and I know that after these next two years are done I will be even more so proud. Thank you everyone for your love and support. I did it!! Whoot whoot!

My Sister Rebekah

For those of you who couldn't guess this is not Rebekah. this is her hansom and rather dashing little brother ian. Rebekah is out at the moment picking her lovely kids up from there father... So i jumped on the computer and wouldn't you know it her blog was left unattended. so i figured i would jump on this chance to let you all know how amazing bex is. She is an amazing sister. she has helped me many times and and gone out of her way to make sure that i am ok. She is also an amazing mother to her two lil girls. They are being taught great life skills and manners and how to be charitable and sweet and loving and giving by there mom. i hope that they get Rebekah's traits when they grow up. and man they sure are cute! Rebekah is blessed with patience. i dont know how she handles any of her daily struggles. she does not deserve any of what she is put thru. she has a heart of gold and the courage of a lion. she stands up for what she believes in and i admire her so much. i hope this painted some what of a picture of my older sister Rebekah. she is wonderful and we are all blessed to know such a great person. I love you bex-ian
ps remember to log out next time.

to walk or not to walk?

So after 4 years of college I am finally graduating with my AA. I know that sounds funny since after 4 years one should have the Bachelors, but my story is a bit different obviously.

I have decided to go to my family and friends for advice. Since it is only my AA in general studies I am thinking about not walking in graduation. It is in the middle to the day out in the hot sun for 3 hours of talking and waiting. That does not excite me at all. On the other hand part of me thinks that if I choose to not walk I will regret it later. My kids will not be there to see me either because they will be on vacation with their dad, and they are my whole motivation and reason for going to school and finishing. If it were not for them and they patience and love I do not think that I would have gotten to this point. So what do you think, walk or not walk? Party maybe instead of, or including walking? Help me out here. Thanks! Love you all.

Graduation is June 18th at 3:30pm

Visits are the best!

Need I say more? The pictures say it all. I love my family, I love my kids, I love my sister, I love my Nephew. Seriously today was such a great day. I hated that they had to leave but I am so glad that Sharon was able come and visit for the day and that I could meet my nephew Max. He is a doll. He spit up on me and part of me was happy cuz I miss that baby smell. LOL I know that is weird but really it was so great to visit with Shari and Max. Love you Sharon! Thanks for making my day and visiting me. See you in a couple weeks.

He really was hugging me, even sharon said so.
