On a Holiday
My girls are visiting their dad for this week and my sister Kim convinced me to come to Idaho Falls and visit for the week they are gone. (I think she knows me well enough to know that I would be sulking and missing my girls and go into a state of depression if I did not have something to do). So I thought about it and thought that it was a great idea. So I packed my stuff and drove the short 7 hours and got here on Saturday. Kim also came to Idaho Falls and she and my other 2 sisters who live here (Courtney and Sharon) all were able to hang out. It has been so much fun. We have played games and BBQ'd and made smore's with Reese's on the awesome fire that Jared made, went on a walk to the falls, gone to the Temple, and sewed. I leave in the morning to go home and as excited as I am to see my girls, I will miss my sisters. They truly are my rock as I have said before.
I will post pictures of some of the happenings of this trip along with picures of my sewing project that I did while I was here. I think you will like it and maybe even be jealous. :) So stay tuned for some posts later on this week.

I am still kicking!
So it has been awhile since I have posted and that is because I have been really busy and also I have not had Internet access. So now I am up and running I will be posting more and more. Hopefully.
For an update: well lets see, I went to my family reunion in June and it was a blast. While I was there however I got pneumonia which stunk. It was like one day I felt good and then the next I was down and freezing in the 100 degree weather. I am still working on my full recovery from that. I have moved back to Spokane also in this time and it has been a good thing. I am learning a lot and I am a stronger person for it, but I would not be this way without my family. I call at least one of my 6 sisters every night. They are my rock, and really since they are the only ones that really read this, I want you to know that I love you and I am so, so thankful that you are my sisters, and that you are there for me when I need you the most.
So here is to a new start and to blogging more because yay! I have Internet.

Good times
Some lady came over to our house and was chastising me and my children, She kept saying call me Nanny, but uh that's weird. scroll down and you will see that she then decided that she thought.......
........that my dad was a handson buck and wanted to sway him to her ways. By the looks of it Dad is on the fence, he doesn't know what to do. In the end he did not give into her persuasiveness.

When I was little my sisters would send all of us on a search to go and get all of the pillows and blankets and cushions we could find. Then we would make a huge pile and then we could go for a ride. We could sit on thier feet and then they would launch us into the air soaring until we landed purposfully onto the mound. We only did this when my parents were gone, because mom and dad had like 20 pillows on their bed and we needed them to protect our bums and there was no way they would let us use them otherwise.

So here are some pictures of my beautiful Krsiten. She is a handfull but I love her. Below is a video of her with my Dad. He brought home some bubbles one night after he got off of work. He took them outside and blew them with the girls. I just love it that my girls are able to spend time with my parents. They have 25 grandkids and all of them but my two girls live far away from them. I did not know my grandmothers at all, and my grandpas, I do not remember very well. I am so glad that my kids get to build memories with their grandparents, and that they know that my parents love them.
